So in this article, we have gathered some tips for carpet cleaning so that this time you can party hard without having to worry about them.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Cleaning tips for your carpet<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Clean carpets not only add beauty to your house decorations but saves you from the skin and breathing problems that can occur from the dust mites congested in a dirty one. Vacuuming may clear the dust, but for stains and other unwanted litter on your carpet, you will need to give it special attention. Find out how to clean them here-<\/p>\n<p><b>Stains<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Stains should be treated as soon as they occur or else they can become permanent. Following are a few methods to clear out about any stain from your carpet.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Mild spills:<\/b> Minor marks like sweat and hard dust can be wiped clean with the simple application of ice cubes. Even when it is, the solution needs to be diluted just the right amount or it can make the stain worse. So remember to first test the solution by using it on a small corner of your carpet.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Soft drink or wine stains: <\/b>Blot the affected area with a tissue paper first to absorb the moisture. Then you can clean the stain off with warm water and dishwashing liquid. Contrary to popular belief, it actually harms your carpet.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tea and coffee spills: <\/b>Few drops of beer is a great home recipe for stains like this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Grease: <\/b>To clean greasy substances from your carpet, the best material is the grease-removing dishwashing liquid. It uses the same technology as cleaning grease from your dishes to cleaning your carpet. Mix it with water and blot on the mark until it is erased.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>Note:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>While cleaning stains, always remember to blot, and not rub. Rubbing spreads the stain even more and makes it more difficult to remove. Certain stains like chocolate and mud should be let dry before cleaning them, whereas stains from food, coffee, tea, and red wine should be wiped when wet.<\/p>\n<p><b>Bloodstain<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Accidents can happen at any time, even at a party. So you should be prepared for every situation. Bloodstains are rather stubborn. First, dilute the blood with a mild detergent diluted with water and scrape off as much blood with it as you can. Then to take the rest off, apply a solution of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide directly onto the stain. It will foam at the contact, do not be worried. After the foam clears off, dab the solution with a clean white towel to dry the carpet.<\/p>\n<p><b>Oil spill<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Oil is another form of a stubborn stain. In case an accident with oil does occur, first place a paper towel over the area and get the oil warm by ironing over it. The towel will soak the oil up and remove most of it from your carpet. If there is still some remainder, rub baking soda and cornstarch over it with a clean cloth and let it sit for about 15 minutes. After this, vacuum the area thoroughly and then wash with a dishwashing liquid.<\/p>\n<p><b>Wax<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Removing wax from your carpet is a bit tricky. Freeze the wax using ice first and then try scraping it off with a blunt object like a spoon or butter knife. If there is still some wax left, put a white cloth over it, and iron over it to warm it up. The cloth will trap most of the wax and the rest you can scrape off with the same blunt object. After all, this is done, vacuum your carpet thoroughly just to be sure no wax fragments are still hiding inside.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Warning:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Do not iron like this for more than 30 seconds or you might end up burning the carpet.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Make sure to use only white cloth or towel. The colourful ones may transfer their own colour to the carpet when warmed up, especially if your carpet is a light-coloured one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Gum<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Gum is not too difficult to get off from your carpet. Simply freeze the gum with ice and then scrape it off with a butter knife. If the ice has left any water residue, blot it off with a paper towel.<\/p>\n<p><b>Candy scrapes<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you have kids coming over, this incident can become quite too common. To get candy scrape from your carpet, at first put an ice pack over it to freeze it and then try scraping it off with a butter knife. After that apply water with mild soap over the area to make sure you get all the sugar out to avoid any debris residue stuck in it. Once the candy is out, dry the area with a paper towel.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Note:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>For any stain that leaves off a bad odour, you can spread baking soda over the entire carpet and leave overnight. Next morning vacuum the carpet exhaustively to get the powder off.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Protect your carpet<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Car cleaning plays an important role in <a href=\"https:\/\/risingmatters.com\/home-improvement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">home improvement<\/a>. As you must have realized from the list above, removing a stain or a stubborn litter like wax from your carpet takes a lot of hard work. Therefore, prevention is always better than cure. You may not be able to avoid accidents, but you sure can use a welcome mat at the entrance of your house to keep the unwanted dust outside. Wash this mat regularly to keep it clean. You can also use rugs to cover the sections of your house drawing the most traffic. They will need to be maintained as well, but that is definitely an easier task.
